Policies
Registration:
All golfers must register in the Golf Shop
before beginning play.
Hours of Play:
The hours of play and Golf Shop hours
will be posted in the Golf Shop. The Golf Course Superintendent
is
authorized to
determine when the golf course is suitable for play. The
decision of the Golf Course Superintendent shall be final.
In the absence of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Golf
Professional on duty shall make this decision.
Tee Time Availability
Starting tee times will be used daily
in order to organize play – no congestion, no waiting.
Spontaneous members play
will be accommodated on a space available basis. Advance
tee times call in privileges begin at 3 p.m. as follows:
Full members..................21 days
Weekday members........14 days
Associate members.......5 days
Tee Time Cancellations
If it becomes necessary to cancel a
tee time, every effort should be made to cancel 24 hours
in advance.
Failure to cancel a tee time may result in a charge to your
account.
Dress Code
Proper golf attire is required at all
times. Blue jeans, cutoffs, t-shirts, etc. may not be worn
at any time. Please
advise your guests of our dress code policy. Members shall
dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere
of Greate Bay. It is the responsibility of the members
and designees to advise their guests of the dress requirements.
For lunch, appropriate informal casual attire may be worn
by both gentlemen and ladies. Proper attire is required for
dinner in the Park Room. Shorts are not permitted.
Cart Paths
Carts should be kept on paths wherever
possible. Follow daily directions posted in your cart.
Etiquette/Pace of Play
All members and their guests are expected
to adhere to the basic rules of golf etiquette, including
replacements
of
divots, fixing of ball marks, raking bunkers, etc. USGA rules
govern all play except where modified by local rules. All
players are expected to play in four hours or less. Slower
groups should invite faster groups to play through.
Lockers/Club Storage
The fully staffed locker room is open to all members
and their guests. Please see the Golf Shop staff to reserve
lockers
and club storage.
USGA Handicap Service
The computerized handicap service is
provided to all Greate Bay Golf members. Please contact
our professional staff for
assistance in using this system.
Social Events
Members may enjoy breakfast and lunch
seven days a week in the Pub & Grille. Dinners will
be served in season; call for details, In addition throughout
the year, the
Food & Beverage
Department is pleased to offer a variety of special events
for the members and their guests to enjoy. To make reservations
for dinner or a member event, or for information on hosting
